Spotlight: In two runs for current stable he was a close second over hurdles before winning last time in a Navan handicap over 1m5f (good); he has been raised 7lb for that success; his form previously was modest but he has a good chance to go in again.
Spotlight: Won a 2m handicap on the AW at Dundalk in March; 2l behind winner in fourth at Navan subsequently; defied market weakness with a pleasing second over hurdles at Downpatrick most recently (2m2f, good); a leading candidate here.
Spotlight: A winner on her penultimate start at Sligo (1m5f, good); her run last time at Gowran was not bad after she faded a little close home (2m, good); the drop back to 1m5f looks a positive and she may be capable off a 6lb higher mark.
Spotlight: Had been running poorly over hurdles but took a step back in the right direction on the Flat last time at odds of 50-1 when 4l behind Arcland at Navan (1m5f, good); won a Southwell handicap from a 1lb lower mark and a two-time winner over hurdles last year so has ability.
Spotlight: Well-backed on seasonal return but failed to fire at Fairyhouse 45 days ago (1m, good); is 1lb lower since being beaten a short head at Gowran last August (1m1f, good to firm); may come on from last run but needs more.
Spotlight: On a long losing run with his one and only win coming in 2021; rated in the mid-70s when trained in England but he looked as though he may now be on a realistic mark after staying on into third over 1m2f at Fairyhouse recently (good); the return to further should suit.
Spotlight: Returned from a break when 11l behind Arcland recently; was a good fourth in a Navan handicap last August off a 5lb higher mark (1m6f, good); she is lightly raced and entitled to improve from her comeback run so can't be completely ruled out.
Spotlight: Won from 4lb higher last year at Hamilton (1m4f, soft); has shown little since and was last seen on the end of a 34l defeat returning from an absence two weeks ago at Fairyhouse (1m2f, good); needs to bounce back.
Spotlight: Sole win came over hurdles two years ago; he has finished a distant third on his two most recent hurdle starts but his prior runs on the Flat are nothing to shout about.
Spotlight: Third reserve; maiden in 23 starts and beaten out of sight last time in a Tipperary claimer (1m1f, yielding to soft); hard to see her being involved.
Spotlight: Three-time winner on the AW but her starts on turf have not been at that level; dropped 4lb since well beaten at Fairyhouse last time (1m2f, good); others make more appeal.
Spotlight: First reserve; unsighted in last place behind Arcland most recently at Navan; twice runner-up last season including at this track from 9lb lower mark.; runs this term have not been great and needs more.
Spotlight: Dual purpose 4yo; sole win came in a claimer at Dundalk in January; poor runs in handicaps and over hurdles since; beaten 40l over hurdles most recently; needs more.
Spotlight: Mixes it on the Flat and over hurdles but has been out of form in both codes since finishing second off 8lb higher at Naas in April; unseated on seasonal return and well behind Jawhary last time at Fairyhouse (1m2f, good).
Spotlight: Absent since poor run at Galway in October 2023; good second at Navan prior to that run (1m6f, soft); most of her best runs have come on soft and has a long layoff to contend with so perhaps best watched.
Spotlight: The pick of her form is a fourth in a Gowran handicap from a 13lb higher mark in June last year; her runs since then have been poor and she was last seen finishing a 32l ninth of 11 at Clonmel in May; cheeckpieces go on but they need to spark huge improvement.
Spotlight: Second reserve; dual-purpose gelding whose sole win came over hurdles three years ago; unlikely to feature if getting a run.

Gavin Cromwell is getting the best out of Arcland after the the 9yo finished second over hurdles before winning a big-field Flat handicap last time. He is up 7lb but has a big chance. You Make Me Smile won over hurdles before winning a Sligo handicap off a mark of 40 and her run at Gowran most recently was not bad. However, JAWHARY has been dropping down the handicap and showed signs he may be capable of exploiting his mark when third on his most recent start. [Denis Harney] Show less
